Not only the slide presentations and the extensive discussions on various artistic issues we had in the evenings, the whole of VASL workshop at Gadani became an extremely valuable, invigorating experience. The interaction with artists from different cultural and social backgrounds, having varied experience. The sharing of ideas, concerns, approaches and handling of materials, has provided me different new angles to look at my own concerns. Thanks to all the participants/artists for their honesty of intention, openheartedness and sense of purpose, which made this workshop so meaningful.
