Outreach funding: OPEN CALL!!
Deadline for applications: 10th September 2012.
Two 50,000Rs grants are available for dynamic and interesting artistic projects that provide education, culture and positive outreach activites to neglected or disadvantaged people in Pakistan.
Grants are available for artists and arts educators wishing to establish outreach initiatives in Pakistan related to culture, visual arts, media or performance. These small grants should be used to the best possible advantage, and we hope that selected projects can initiate new long-term outreach projects in Pakistan. They can be used to test new outreach ideas and initiatives, establish grassroots projects, or on one-off programmes that present a tangible impact.

Name of project
Name(s) of applicants
Duration of project
Place of project
Project proposal
Budget plan, (how the 50,000Rs will be spent)
Note that the grants will not cover fees for educators or participants. The funds should cover outreach activities/equipment/local transportation costs/space rentals only. Also note that we cannot pay for any air fares or long-distance travel. If the projects take place outside Karachi, we may ask vasl friends and partners in your own contexts to visit the projects as they take place.
Once the funds have been spent grantees will be requested to provide images and a two-page report on the completed projects. Projects must be completed/grants must be spent by 1st November 2012.
